Which battles are in the quiz?

Each game draws eight battles at random from a pool of 16, so a replay brings new scenes: Tours, Talas, Hastings, Hattin, Ain Jalut, Grunwald, Agincourt, Constantinople, Las Navas de Tolosa, Lake Peipus, Aljubarrota, the Marchfeld, Německý Brod, Clontarf, Stirling Bridge and Montiel.

No. Heavy cavalry was powerful, but many famous battles were decided by infantry that held its ground, by archers as at Agincourt, by thirst and terrain as at Hattin, or by siege artillery as at Constantinople in 1453.
